The commander halted the parade upon noticing a young girl dressed in ordinary clothing among the elite formation, and coldly stated that she did not belong there; but a few seconds later, he already regretted his words when he understood who that young girl truly was.
The morning was cold and clear. In the vast square stood hundreds of soldiers in white uniforms. The ranks stretched far ahead, the lines were perfect, each step carefully measured in advance. Everything looked exactly as a parade should — strict, precise, without the slightest error.
The commander walked slowly and confidently along the troops. His gaze scanned faces, uniforms, and the smallest details. He noticed everything and forgave no imperfection. The soldiers knew this and remained motionless, as if carved from stone.
It was precisely for this reason that he noticed her immediately.
The young girl stood slightly outside the line, almost on the marked boundary. She wore a gray hoodie, dark pants, and ordinary shoes. No uniform, no insignia, nothing to explain her presence there.
The commander stopped abruptly, his step echoing in the silence.
Several officers stiffened, but no one moved. Everyone was waiting.
He turned toward her and took a few steps forward.

— What are you doing here? — his voice was cold and loud, audible even in the distant ranks. — Do you even know where you are?
The young girl did not answer immediately. She looked at him calmly, without agitation, as if neither the uniform, nor the tone, nor the dozens of eyes around her intimidated her.
That irritated him.
— You’re ruining the parade — he continued more harshly. — Here there is order and discipline. And you stand in the middle of the formation dressed like that, without even bothering to explain yourself.
He took another step toward her.
— People like you have no business being here. This is not a place for wandering around. Turn around and leave, before I order you to be removed.
In the ranks, someone barely tensed, but no one moved.
The young girl finally replied:
— I’m not disturbing anyone.
Her voice was calm, almost gentle, but in the silence it rang out clearly.
The commander narrowed his eyes.
— Are you serious? — he said with a mocking smile, devoid of warmth. — You stand there like this and still dare to argue with me?
He glanced at the officers behind her, as if checking whether it was a joke.
— Who are you to speak to me like that? — his voice became harder. — Do you even know who you are talking to?
The young girl did not step back. She simply clenched her hands a little tighter.
— Yes, I know.
This short reply made him even angrier.
— Then behave accordingly — he said sharply. — Don’t interfere. Step out of the line. Last time I’m saying it.
She stayed where she was.
And at that moment, the tension became almost palpable. Everyone was waiting for what would happen next. The commander suddenly grabbed her by the collar and pushed her, but he still did not know that a few seconds later something terrible was going to happen… 😱‼️‼️
For a few seconds, they simply looked at each other.
The commander was about to give an order when hurried footsteps were heard behind them.
An officer stepped out of the ranks and stopped almost immediately, trying not to break discipline, but clearly in a rush.
— Sir… — he bowed slightly and whispered a few words.
The commander’s expression changed.
At first, he didn’t believe it. His gaze shifted briefly to the young girl, then back to the officer.
— Are you sure she’s from the ministry? — he asked quietly.
— Yes, sir. Confirmed.
Around them, silence remained, but it felt different now. The tension was even heavier.
The commander looked at the young girl again. His gaze no longer had the same confidence as before.
She was still standing just as calmly, as if she knew exactly what was going to happen.
He took a step back. Barely noticeable, but enough.
When he spoke again, his voice was no longer as harsh.
— Why wasn’t I informed in advance?
The officer did not answer immediately.
For the first time, the young girl’s expression changed slightly.
— Because I wasn’t supposed to be here in advance — she said calmly.
The commander fell silent.
He no longer knew what to say.
The whole situation was starting to take another turn, and he realized he had made a mistake the moment he had thought she didn’t belong there.
But it was already too late.
Everyone had seen the scene.
And now, everyone was waiting to see what he would do next. 😐😐😐
