Every morning, a cat comes to our little fish shop, a leaf carefully held between its teeth. In exchange, it asks for a fish. But one day, it came with its friends—and I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at what they did…
Every morning, that same cat comes to our little fish shop. Gray, just an ordinary street cat, but with clever eyes—as if it understood everything. It carefully holds a leaf in its mouth, sits in front of the counter, and waits for me to notice it.
At first, I thought it was just a coincidence. But then I realized: no, it’s intentional. Every day, it lays down its “payment” in front of me and looks up, as if to say:
— Here’s my money. Where’s my fish?
The neighbors laughed, but I couldn’t resist—I started giving it a piece of fresh fish. This went on for weeks: one leaf meant lunch was guaranteed.
But one morning, I opened the door and nearly dropped my knife.
Three cats were sitting in front of the shop, and my old companion stood proudly among them, serious and dignified, like a real leader.
😲😲 And then they did something that made me not know whether to laugh or cry…
The continuation – my first reaction 👇👇👇
One morning, my cat didn’t come alone.
He was accompanied by his friends—three gray, striped, and fluffy companions.

Each one held a leaf between its teeth, like a little ticket to our “store.”
My old companion began distributing the leaves to his friends, placing them in front of them, and all three sat politely, watching me patiently. Their eyes sparkled, their tails twitched slightly—it was clear they knew the rule: leaf = fish.
I had to hold back my laughter.
The neighbors peeked out curiously and whispered, “What a circus!” But I understood—it wasn’t a game. The cats knew exactly what they were doing and waited for me to give each of them a small piece of fresh fish.
They sat there so calmly, as if to make sure I was doing my job properly.
And only when I placed the fish in front of them did all three start meowing at once—content and proud, as if they had received their well-deserved reward.
At that moment, I realized I had never seen a feline “business” so well organized. 🐈⬛🐟💚
