A young girl married a wealthy 60-year-old sheikh, but she was far from imagining that something terrible was going to happen on their wedding night.
A nineteen-year-old girl had grown up in a poor family, where she had to struggle daily just to survive. As a student, she dreamed of only one thing: escaping poverty one day and living “like normal people.”
Fate offered her an unexpected encounter: at a reception, she happened to cross paths with the gaze of a wealthy sheikh over sixty years old. He adored her freshness and beauty, and for the young girl, this meeting became a chance to change her life.

The sheikh didn’t hesitate: he proposed marriage, and the young girl, deceived by the brilliance of his wealth, accepted. She was fully aware that she felt no love for the old man, but she was drawn by the opportunity to secure her future and forget hunger and debt. For the sheikh, this marriage was more of a status symbol: having a young and beautiful woman by his side was a sign of his power and wealth.
The wedding was like nothing anyone had ever seen. The palace sparkled with lights, the halls were adorned with hundreds of white roses and golden fabrics. Only the most respected and wealthiest guests sat at the long tables, including politicians, businessmen, and members of noble families. The tables were decorated with rare seafood dishes, exotic fruits, and the finest wines. There were toasts, music, and laughter; everything around her seemed like the embodiment of a fairy tale. Dressed in a luxurious gown, the young girl felt as if she had stepped into someone else’s dream: just moments before, she had been counting every coin, and now, unimaginable luxury surrounded her.

But on their first wedding night, something terrible happened. People heard the bride’s screams, rushed into the bridal suite, and saw this…
Once the wedding was over, the guests began to leave, and the newlyweds returned to their chambers. The heavy gown had tired her out, and she went to the bathroom to change.
The image of how her life had changed in just a few weeks crossed her mind. But when she returned to the bedroom, a scene was burned into her memory forever: the sheikh was lying on the floor, pale and motionless.
She screamed so loudly that servants and guards rushed into the room. There was an uproar; doctors were called, but their conclusion was brief and merciless — his heart couldn’t take it. The wealthy sheikh died on his wedding night.
And so, in just a few hours, the young woman’s life changed twice: from a poor student, she first became the wife of the richest man — and then, his heiress.
But this immense fortune aroused serious suspicion. For a long time, people whispered behind her back, convinced that she had caused her husband’s death.
Her life then became a mix of luxury and loneliness, of wealth and a constant shadow of doubt.
