During the hike, a young man from Peterborough, England, made an astonishing discovery.
The boy had just come out of the forest and was looking out over a large area. One day, he came across a place where many round objects were lying around — they seemed unusual and didn’t appear to be part of the natural landscape.
To find out what was going on, he decided to take a closer look. He was shocked as he got closer! What he initially thought were tennis balls turned out to be a large number of live chicks that hadn’t hatched for over a day.
It appears that they had been abandoned in this area to die by some unknown individuals. An investigation is currently underway, and the authorities have been called to the area.
Although the birds were rescued, not all of them survived.
