During what began as an ordinary walk in the city park, no one could have imagined that the peaceful morning would turn into a real nightmare within moments. Six-year-old Emma was happily walking beside her mother, Sarah. From time to time, she ran ahead to admire the flowers or feed some ducks by the small pond.

The entire park fell silent. Sarah slowly turned her gaze from the destroyed path toward her daughter, and only then did she realize that Emma would have been standing directly beneath the falling tree if the Doberman had not held her against the fence.
Only after everything became quiet did Max calmly step back, sit down beside the girl, and look at her attentively. Emma gently stroked the dog’s head.

Tears filled Sarah’s eyes. She walked over to the dog, carefully knelt in front of him, and said in a trembling voice:
