I stumbled upon this strange object in the backyard entirely by chance. At first, I thought it was a piece of old wood, or maybe something rotten. It was hard, heavy, with strange stripes as if it were made of layers, and it had an unpleasant smell that immediately made me suspicious.
I picked it up and turned it around, and the longer I looked at it, the stronger the feeling became that this wasn’t just trash or some random object.
The strangest thoughts started appearing in my head. I even thought it might be something dangerous, or not natural at all. That made me a bit uneasy, because I couldn’t understand how this thing had ended up in my yard. There was nothing similar nearby, no such trees in sight, and its shape was too unusual.
I decided to look into it and started searching for information. I compared pictures, read descriptions, and the further I went, the more surprised I became. It turned out that it wasn’t anything strange or dangerous at all, but a Himalayan cedar cone.
At that moment, I simply froze, because I couldn’t believe that such a rare thing could be lying right at my feet.
