My husband and I had been saving for years for our daughters’ college education. He had opened an account specifically for them.

I checked again, thinking it might be a technical error, but the account was still empty.
I tried calling him several times and left him a message: “Call me back immediately, there’s a problem with the girls’ fund.”
He simply replied with this message: “Yes, I know, I took it.”
Later, I discovered he had gone on vacation with his mistress. Can you imagine? Not only did he have a mistress, but he was also spending the money meant for our daughters on her.

I didn’t waste any time. As soon as I discovered what he had done, I immediately contacted my lawyer friend. Together, we analyzed the situation.
In reality, my husband couldn’t have disposed of such a large sum of money, so he had transferred the funds to another account, which I also had access to.
With the help of my lawyer, we managed to freeze the account to prevent further spending. He could no longer touch the money. Two days later, he called me, panicked, visibly shocked by what I had done.
He hadn’t expected me to act so quickly. But I couldn’t let him continue like that. Calmly and firmly, I told him that our marriage was over and that we would divorce.
It was the only option left after everything he had done.
